General program

The school will be organized over 5 days (Monday morning to Friday afternoon). It will focus on microalgal cell factories, covering various biotechnological challenges associated with the key steps in the pipelines to enhance algal performance.

The attendees will gain experience with diatom transformation, and with genome editing tools for synthetic biology.

Microfactory comprises seven sessions, including lectures and practical parts dedicated to a specific topic, presented by experts in the field, as well as poster presentations by the attendees. Attendants are cordially invited to bring a poster about their ongoing work 

(Poster dimension: maximum A0 paper size: 119 x 84 cm).
